Fine Italian cuisine at very, very fair prices.

The food was delicious and the environment outside is also very nice.

We all enjoyed the food very much. The selection was very large and varied. We had lamb, scampi and the chanterelle noodles. Everyone was happy. The service was also extremely good and very attentive. Only the decoration and interior design was a bit too kitschy for our taste. We'd love to come back.

We were guests at Il Castello a few days ago and unfortunately more than disappointed. The restaurant is in wonderful surroundings, but the boss was so unfriendly that we will never visit Il Castello again. Unfortunately, the basically very nice ambience was completely destroyed. I cannot recommend it by any means.

The restaurant, which I've been visiting for a very long time, has at least declined in terms of service and ambience. Instead of cloth napkins there are now paper napkins, the decoration is a bit nice - and unimaginative, which I now simply attribute to Corona and the lack of income. What I expect in the restaurant is salt and pepper on the table (also available in sachets). The behavior of the boss towards his employees is embarrassing to others. When someone starts their job again, there is a lot that they cannot know. But it should not be made 'round' in front of the guests. The boss's behavior is arrogant and his friendliness is artificial. The food is still very good, grace to the boss, the greeting from the kitchen is always delicious

In this case, the fact that I give two and not just one star is because the starters were delicious. I was disappointed with the main course. If on the menu there is talk of calf's liver with fried onions and apple cider vinegar with rosemary potatoes and vegetables, and there is a large portion of caper on the plate, that should be declared. Capers are not everyone's cup of tea. When I pointed this out, I was told in a not particularly friendly way that it is calf's liver Venetian. Why is that not on the map so that you could question it? The side salads that we had with us were just inedible. The lettuce leaves were already black and mushy. And we're not talking about one or two leaves, but about the whole salad. This was also noted with disinterest. I imagine vegetables a little more than three florets of cauliflower, but that is a matter of interpretation. The spaghetti from the Parmesan loaf floated in tons of oil. The taste was okay overall, but the individual points listed were very disappointing. But the unfriendly way in which the criticism was dealt with is the biggest point of criticism for me.

Very good food, the service was very friendly, the ambience is rather cozy but nice. Dust extraction would be an idea. Otherwise everything is fine.

I was actually out to satisfy my hunger. Fortunately, the first Italian was closed and so I ended up here. First surprise the tables were nice and high-priced with cloth napkins, etc.; second surprise the prices did not meet expectations (fear). Instead of pasta / pizza with a drink, there was a three-course menu. The service was very good and technically very competent. So if someone wants to take his wife or girlfriend (inexpensive) to dinner well, Il Castello is a good address.

We were surprised about the previous reviews, because we are talking about pizzas, which the restaurant does not offer :) We were really there and ate delicious (no pizza, since there are none) and the service was also great. Would love to come back!

Everything is freshly cooked here and you can taste it. Nice personel . I will gladly come again.

On Mother's Day at 1:20 pm we were here. The store was not even half full and we did not get a table. I do not get it. Whether because of the hair color or because a small child was there, I can not understand it and can not accept it. 👎😠

Nice service and a greeting from the kitchen, asparagus cakes with salmon tartare, fine. Homemade bread with truffle butter. Fresh Vitello Tonnato, not from the fridge. Spaghetti from the parmesan loaf with a good portion of truffle, a muse. Spaghetti Aglio, Olio com Peperoncini and spaghetti with oyster mushrooms and vegetables, all freshly prepared. The spaghetti from the parmesan loaf freshly prepared directly at the table. A feast for the eyes!
